With We Are Home, Toronto bassist-composer Josh Cohen steps into a new chapter as a full-band composer and bandleader. Featuring Jeremy Ledbetter, Rob Christian, Lucian Gray, and Mateo Mancuso, the album expands Cohen’s solo bass background into a collaborative jazz-fusion sound shaped by groove, melody, and ensemble interplay. A longtime educator, author, and award-winning bassist, Cohen brings years of technical exploration into a warmer, more expansive project about home, trust, and musical connection.
